There are no translations available. My School There are 73 secondary schools in Gomel. My school is called Gymnasia 71. There are about 700 students in it aged from 6 to 17. My school has got two buildings – one is for junior students, the other – for the senior ones. It stands in a large yard with a lot of flower-beds. Kids learn to take care of them. The students of my school learn 14 subjects including intensive English classes and Maths. We take part in different contests for English learners. Two regional contests are held at our school. One of them is “The Art of Speaking” in four foreign languages taught in Gomel region. The other one is “Welcome to the English-Speaking World!” which is a team contest dealing with one particular English-speaking country each year. Our students love school very much. After finishing it they enter prestigious universities.
